Regional Sales Representative - RFID


Regional Sales Representative - RFID

We currently have an immediate need for a Regional Sales Representative - RFID.  This position will have overall responsibility for assigned accounts and opportunities ranging from account development, customer needs and definitions, solution launch through production ramp and long term revenue goals for the account.  This position may include working with current major accounts and developing new accounts within assigned segments or industries.  Although PDC is located in California, candidates from anywhere in the U.S. will be considered, especially candidates located in the Northeast or Midwest.  This position is a home office position and discipline and time management are essential to ensure that maximum exposure is achieved within these selected accounts. 

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Accountable to drive long term growth strategy at selected strategic AMAT accounts.
  • Performs field promotional work to sell and develop new business.
  • Daily interface with selected accounts at all levels to achieve maximum penetration as well as mind share of PDC and our product offerings at these accounts.
  • Develop long term RFID road map with accounts to ensure design wins for continued growth within these accounts.
  • Weekly and monthly reports on efforts as well as revenue forecasting to achieve targeted account revenue goals.
  • Travel approximately 60% of the time.
  • Prepares price quotations, proposals, terms of sales, delivery dates, etc. and writes orders subject to company policy.

Bachelor's degree preferred. Engineering or Technical experience preferred. Must have 2-3 years direct RFID experience preferably in the 13.56 MHz passive frequency range. Experience must be focused at the technical application level at end users. Demonstrated ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and apply these concepts to practical applications. 3-5 years managing million dollar accounts with multiple locations preferred. Must have demonstrated RFID knowledge to technical level sufficient to represent PDC as the expert to both our customers and opportunities
